Dental implants can be an important investment in your wellbeing, providing a permanent solution for missing teeth. Every case is different, depending on patient requirements. An accurate quote can be provided following an assessment of your condition and requirements.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are a form of replacing missing teeth. If you have missing teeth, one of the options is to replace that space with dental implants.

Basically a dental implant has three parts; a screw that is placed inside the bone, a connector (abutment) that connects the inside world to the outside world and crown that sits on top of the connector.

What are the advantages of dental implants compared to bridges or dentures?

Dental implants are stronger and more dependable than conventional bridges cemented to natural teeth, or traditional partial or full removable dentures.

However, dental implants may be used to support a bridge or dentures when multiple teeth are missing to provide better support and stability, help maintain the jaw bone, and reduce gum tissue irritation.

What if I don’t have any bone for dental implants?

In this case we augment the site with some bone (add bone to the area) before placement of the dental implant. The augmentation can take place on the very same day as the implant placement or 3 months before the implant placement depending on the amount of bone needed.
