Dr .Rupesh Phirangi

B.D.S, MHM (Wollongong), GCert (Adelaide), PGDI (CSU)

Rupesh is the principal dentist in Manning Valley Dental .He has bundle of experience as a dentist. He worked at other private practices and at health fund clinic before settling down in Taree. He practises dentistry to a high standard and is able to offer his patients a good understanding in his treatment plan. He is update with the state of art in technology in digital dentistry and trying to give his best to his patients. He continues to do professional development education courses both in Australia and overseas to update his skills.

Dr Kumudika Gunaratne

(University of Sydney)

Dr Kumudika Gunaratne (Kumi) graduated from the University of Sydney, Doctor of Dental Medicine. Kumi joined the Manning Valley Dental team in 2020. Prior to dentistry he obtained 1st class honours in Zoological sciences at the University of New South Wales. Kumi has special interests in Oral surgery and Root Canal Therapy. He grew up in the northern suburbs of Sydney, and now calls Taree his home- enjoying the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. His other interests include Rugby Union, Film making/editing and travelling. His favourite places to travel are along the NSW coastline, Sri Lanka and Europe. Kumi’s priority is achieving the best outcome for his patients and enjoys collaborating with Dr Rupesh and Dr Ana where possible to achieve this goal.

Dr. Ana Paula Batista Machado de Avila

(University of Sydney)

Dr Ana Paula Batista Machado de Avila completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University Federal of Minas Gerais and a Specialisation Course in Orthodontics in Brazil. She worked for more than 10 years as an Orthodontic specialist before moving to Australia with her family in the end of 2016. Ana began working as a General Dentist in Australia after successfully passing the Australian Dental Council examinations. Her special interest is in Orthodontics and she is committed to continuing education, regularly attending national and international meetings and conferences in order to offer the best treatment for her patients. In her spare time, she loves going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Euan Brown

(University of Sydney)

Dr Euan Brown BDS graduated in Scotland in 1982 from University of Dundee, Scotland. He has bundle of experience as a general dentist. Dr Brown has a wife and 2 children, who made Port Macquarie as a home since 2009.Before joining us ,Dr Brown worked locally at Port Macquarie and Kempsey. Outside work Dr Brown enjoys playing hockey.

Melissa Gresham

Hi I am Melissa. I am practice manager and play an important part of our team in Manning Valley Dental. I have been working here since 2006. I have a bundle of experience in dental assisting, front office management, and administration. I am passionate about my job and ensure patients’ comfort and a stress-free visit. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs every day and camping.

Anita Hills

Hi, I am Anita. I have been part of the wonderful team since 2006. You will see me working all over the practice, assisting and at reception. I thoroughly enjoy working with an amazing team that is knowledgeable and skilled, creating beautiful smiles to make patients happy. Outside work, I enjoy physic culture and spending time with my family.
