In her spare time, she loves going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Ana is very passionate about orthodontics and has highlighted some common problems to watch out for in growing children:

Malocclusions or “bad bites” like those illustrated may benefit from early diagnosis and for a full evaluation. In addition, if you notice any of the following in your child check with your dentist:

  • Early or late loss of baby teeth
  • Difficulty in chewing or biting
  • Mouth breathing
  • Snoring
  • Jaws that shift or make sounds
  • Speech difficulties
  • Biting the cheek or the root of the mouth
  • Facial asymmetry
  • Grinding or clenching.

Early orthodontic intervention can prevent many problems in children before they reach adolescence and adulthood. If you notice any of these problems in your child, intercepting them early can be the key to successful treatment and greater quality of life. Manning Valley Dental is proud to welcome Dr. Ana to the team who is passionate about this area of dentistry.
